What is comprehensive care?

Living with a bleeding disorder can be difficult, but you do not have to face it alone. At the Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania, we provide care that supports your overall health, not just your bleeding disorder.

Our team works together to help children, adults, and families at every stage of life. Your care team may include doctors, nurses, a social worker, a physical therapist, a genetic counselor, and other specialists who understand bleeding disorders.

We work closely with you and your family to create a care plan that fits your needs. We focus on education, prevention, treatment, and ongoing support. Our goal is to help you stay healthy, feel confident managing your condition, and live a full and active life.
