Some bleeding and clotting disorders are genetic, so it is important that patients and their families understand the implications of the genetic aspect of the disease.

We recommend that our patients schedule a yearly comprehensive evaluation, during which they are seen by the multidisciplinary team. Our goal is to assist in your healthcare management and to help you and your family maintain a normal lifestyle.

Physical Therapy

People with bleeding disorders may bleed into their joints or muscles. Joint and muscle bleeds can cause pain, progressive joint damage and disability. The physical therapist (PT) specializes in the prevention, treatment and recovery from joint and muscle bleeds. PT enables people to live an active and fulfilling life.
