Dr. Oluwole is an adult hematologist with a focus on hemoglobinopathies and inherited thrombophilia (clotting disorders). She earned her medical degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at UPMC, where she was part of the Global Health Track. Following her residency, she pursued fellowship training at the University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. After completing her training, Dr. Oluwole returned to Pittsburgh to begin her academic career as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UPMC. AT HCWP, she leads an inherited thrombophilia clinic. Her research interests are in sickle cell disease, women's health, and thrombophilia.
